Indulge in these elegant chocolate domes filled with a luscious praline layer and an airy mascarpone mousse. A perfect dessert for special occasions!

For the Chocolate Shell:
- 200 g dark chocolate (70%), melted
For the Praline Layer:
- 100 g praline paste (or finely blended caramelized hazelnuts)
- 50 g crushed feuilletine (or crushed wafer biscuits)
- 50 g melted milk chocolate
For the Mascarpone Mousse:
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml heavy cream (cold)
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For Decoration (Optional):
- Cocoa powder
- Chocolate shavings
- Caramelized hazelnuts
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Chocolate Shells
- Melt the dark chocolate and coat the inside of silicone dome molds using a pastry brush.
- Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes, then apply a second layer for strength.
- Refrigerate until set.
2️⃣ Prepare the Praline Layer
- Mix the praline paste with the crushed feuilletine and melted milk chocolate until combined.
- Spread a thin layer into each hardened chocolate shell and refrigerate.
3️⃣ Make the Mascarpone Mousse
- In a bowl, whisk mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Pipe or spoon the mousse into the chocolate domes over the praline layer.
4️⃣ Assemble & Chill
- Smooth the tops and freeze for 2 hours to set.
- Carefully unmold the domes.
5️⃣ Decorate & Serve
- Dust with cocoa powder, add chocolate shavings, or drizzle with caramelized hazelnuts.
- Let them sit for 10 minutes at room temperature before serving.
